ABRAHAM
![]() |
Abram / Abraham was a direct descendant of Shem, son of Noah.
Appearing as ‘Abram,’ up until God’s confirming His *covenant with him, God then changed his name from Abram (‘father’) to ‘Abraham,’ (‘father of many.’) God called Abraham out of his home country giving him two boundless promises: to make him a great nation, bless him, make his name great, make him a blessing, bless those who blessed him, & curse those who cursed him; also that all the people on earth would be blessed through him! Known as one “fully persuaded that God had the power to do what He promised,” the enduring story of Abraham is vividly retold in Episode 3: ‘Towering Pride & True Lies.’ * A strong pledge or promise. |
