Bingo and Molly-The Treasure
Bingo and Duck are annoyed when a big tree gets in the way of their game of soccer.
Gladys is also annoyed at the tree which keeps dropping leaves on her door step. Bingo, Duck and Gladys decide to write a letter asking to have the tree cut down.
Molly is very upset when she hears this as she loves the tree and often watches the way the wind blows through its leaves and the birds sit on its branches.
The carrot and sunflowers agree with Molly. “Take Care of the Forest” they sing.
Molly asks Mr. Growl how she can stop them from hurting the tree. Mr. Growl calls everyone together for a special story from the Book tree. It’s about a beautiful pond which a visitor calls “a treasure”. Soon all the villagers dig up the pond as they search for the gold. It’s only after they have destroyed the pond, do they realise that the pond was the treasure – a natural treasure.
Bingo and Molly was awarded the prestigious CINE Golden Eagle Award AND The Parents Choice Award for Excellence in Children’s Programming.
