Naamah was the wife of Noah & three sons, Shem, Ham & Japheth whom all became direct ancestors of many races. (See Shem, Ham or Japheth in the Character Gallery for more details)
Whilst the Bible does not specifically mention her name, Jewish tradition ascribes Noah’s wife’s name as Naamah. In Hebrew this actually means “pleasing,” “the beautiful” or “the pleasant one.”
